Rekord A

Rekord A

Chamfer. Straight flute tap with short chamfer of 2-3 threads.

Application. Blind and through hole tapping.

Materials. Low carbon, free-machining and low alloy steels with a tensile strength up to 110,000 psi (224 BHN).

Rekord A-H

Rekord A-H

Chamfer. 2-3 threads is standard. Lengthening to 4, 6, or 8 threads increases cutting efficiency when cutting materials with high tensile strength.

Material. Due to the special cutting geometry and material selection this tool has the ability to cut difficult material.

Range of application: meehanite iron and spheroidal graphite iron, perlitic, ferritic or austenitic iron, low alloyed casting steel, forged parts, heat-treated parts, high speed steels, tool steels, bronze, gunmetal and sintered parts.

Rekord A-GAL

Rekord A-GAL

Chamfer. 2-3 threads is standard.

Material. The cutting edge geometry is specifically designed for tapping cast aluminum and aluminum alloy.

Machining. Cutting fluid emulsions with a mixture ratio of 1:12 up to 1:15 are sufficient as coolant and lubricant.

Rekord A-MS

Rekord A-MS

Chamfer. Chamfer length according DIN Form C (max. 2.5 threads).

Material. Suitable for blind and through hole threads in short-chipping brass.

Rekord A-Z-TICN

Rekord A-Z-TICN

Chamfer. Form "C" 2-3 Threads

Application. "Z" Geometry designed especially for CNC controlled machines.

Materials.

  1. Structural and free cutting steels and heat treated steel within tensile strength ranges from 58000 to 116000 PSI (119 BHN-22HRc) used in conjunction with good quality emulsions with a mixture ratio of approximately 1: up to 1:15.
  2. For stainless and acid resistant steels. Recommended for use with cutting oils or special emulsions with compression-proof additives of good quality.
  3. For forged parts, heat-treated materials, tool steels, steel castings, and high alloy steel castings.
  4. Almost all aluminum alloys can be worded with our tap "Z" without having to change rake angle or chamfer. Emulsions with a mixture of 1:12 up to 1:15 are sufficient as coolant and lubricant.
  5. For working nickel, nickel alloys and some titanium alloys. The use of cutting oil or pastes of high quality is required.

Coating. TiCN for better thread surface finishes, higher cutting speeds and longer tool life.
